Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is responsible for the overall operation of WCYA. Volunteering their time, this committee is a dynamic group of Adventist young people  who are committed to the message and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Mindy Schumacher
Mindy Schumacher President
Mindy is currently attending nursing school in North Dakota. She passionate about heath and wellness and incorporating healthy concepts into every day life. She previously worked at Eden Valley Institute of Wellness as a Massage Therapist and Assistant Lifestyle Director. Mindy enjoys any outdoor activity like helping on her family’s farm and ranch, backpacking, dirt biking, camping, horseback riding and any sport. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and working in her local church. Mindy is so blessed to be part of a ministry founded and led by young people who are passionate about sharing Christ’s love all around us. Her favorite verse is Lamentations 3:22-23 which says, "The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
Kenny Orr
Kenny Orr Programming Director
Kenny is 23 years old. He loves the outdoors, fitness, tennis, and enjoys animals including his poison dart frog collection. Since he was young he has been involved in music including piano, violin, pipe organ, and singing. He is a manager at an athletic club as well as a manager of Adorable Chem-Dry carpet cleaning. He is very happy to be a part of a team of young people so dedicated to knowing and sharing the most important thing, JESUS! “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Amelia Zimmerman
Amelia Zimmerman Communications Director
Amelia is a Communication major at Southern Adventist University. She is a 2019 graduate of Eden Valley Institute of Wellness' Medical Missionary Evangelist Training Program. Amelia enjoys many activities such as horseback riding, rollerblading, basketball, ice skating and hiking. She loves to train dogs and has a dog boarding and training business which she runs from her home. She can often be seen with a camera, Bible, sketchbook, or instrument (likely stringed) in hand. She is passionate about sharing Jesus with others so that they may long to see His face. "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness." Psalm 17:15
Bayli Graybill
Bayli Graybill Music Coordinator
Bayli is currently a Pre-Nursing student at Weimar University in Northern California, but Colorado will always be home. While she’s not busy with school she enjoys spending time with her furry friends, playing piano, singing, skiing, and hiking. Bayli's favorite verse it Exodus 3:11-12, "But Moses said to God, 'Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?' And God said, 'I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.'”
Chase Rodriguez
Chase Rodriguez Missions Director
Chase is currently a student at Southern Adventist University. Chase is a passionate preacher and loves ministry. He is very active outdoors, and has many hobbies including: Biking, hiking backpacking, photography, and much more. He loves horses, and has been training them for over 5 years. Chase is looking at going into ministry and videography. One of his favorite Bible verses is Psalms 91:14-16, which says, “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”
Samantha McDaniel
Samantha McDaniel Prayer Coordinator
Samantha lives in Kansas, where she just graduated nursing school (spring 2021). Her hobbies include photography, traveling, camping, crocheting, and making custom tumblers. Samantha has a lot of favorite Bible verses but the one that hits home for her these days is Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
Enoch Stover
Enoch Stover Miscellaneous Director
Enoch lives in Wyoming where he is a full time Renewable Wind Energy producer and part time Agricultural Farmer. He is an active young adult who enjoys hanging out with friends, fixing things, and crafting new flavors in the kitchen. In his spare time, he also enjoys doing mechanics. His favorite Bible verse is “In my Father’s house are many mansions if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you to myself that where I am, you may be also. “ John 14:2-3
Roper Karges
Roper Karges Secretary
Roper currently works as a welder and mechanic in North Dakota. He also volunteers as a missionary with Build and Restore International. His hobbies and pastimes include woodworking, metal working, motor sports, working on old pickups, collecting books, and many other hobbies. His favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Alex Rodriguez
Alex Rodriguez Director of Evangelism and Field Services, Voice of Prophecy
Alex is a passionate speaker and educator. He holds an undergraduate degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation and a master’s degree in religion with concentrations in Systematic Theology and Church History. Alex’s hobbies include wood working, photography and farming. He and his wife Stacey and their five children reside in Berthoud.
Micheal Goetz
Micheal Goetz Lead Pastor, Campion SDA Church
Michael Goetz is lead pastor at the Campion Adventist Church in Loveland, CO. He began ministry serving as a police chaplain and pastoral ministry. Micheal has his degree in theology from Montemorelos University in Mexico. Graduate studies include a Master of Divinity (MDiv.) and a Doctorate in Ministry (DMin.) in Homiletics from Andrews University. He enjoys running, mountain climbing, and reading. He and his wife have 2 children and reside in Johnstown, CO.
